St. James Catholic Church is a stewardship community, founded in Dallas, Texas in 1934. Various ethnic orientations, culturally diverse community, proud traditions, and a strong sense of family enrich our parish life. We are a Catholic community committed to keeping our faith alive and growing. We nurture our faith by celebrating the Eucharist as the source and summit of our Christian lives, living out the Scriptures through Evangelization and Formation, being true to Church teachings and receiving the Sacraments. We hope to reflect the life and love of Jesus by strengthening and sustaining the faith of our families and by reaching out to our neighbors as we together struggle for a more just and equitable society.
La Iglesia Catolica de St. James es una comunidad de co-responsabilidad, fundada en Dallas, Texas en 1934. Nuestra vida parroquial, esta enriquecida por diferentes orientaciones etnicas, diversas culturas, tradiciones orgullosas y un sentido fuerte de familia. Nosotros somos una comunidad catolica totalmente comprometida a mantener nuestra fe viva y siempre creciendo. Nosotros alimentamos nuestra fe celebrando la sagrada Eucaristia como la fuente y cumbre de nuestras vidas cristianas; viviendo la Sagrada Escritura mediante la evangelizacion y la formacion cristiana siendo fiel a las enseñanzas de la Iglesia y recibiendo con regularidad los sacramentos. Esperamos reflejar la vida y el amor del Señor Jesus. Fortaleciendo y sosteniendo la fe de nuestras familias extendiendo la mano a nuestros vecinos, mientras juntos luchamos por conseguir una sociedad justa y equitativa.
